Venda (the “Platform”) is an e‑commerce application that lets merchants list products and consumers place orders.

1.1 Account & Profile Data
When you create or manage an account, we collect personal details such as name, display name, email address, phone number, password (hashed), date of birth, gender, and activity timestamps like last‑visited IP or device source.
1.2 Customer & Payment Data
Customers may provide additional profile data (e.g., marketing preferences, FCM push‑notification tokens) and limited payment details such as Stripe customer IDs, card brand, and last four digits of the card number.
1.3 Order, Delivery & Transaction Data
To process purchases and fulfill delivery orders, we store order numbers, item counts, billing and shipping addresses, shipping carrier info, tracking IDs, device identifiers, payment method references, and other transaction metadata.
1.4 Location Data for Delivery
When you place a delivery order, we collect and use only the location information necessary to complete the service. This may include your delivery address and, if enabled on your device and permitted by your settings, your precise or approximate device location. We use this information solely to confirm delivery availability, verify service areas, route orders efficiently, and ensure your order is delivered to the correct address.
1.5 Automatically Collected Data
We log basic usage information (e.g., timestamps, IP addresses, device IDs) and may deploy cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences and measure performance.
2. How We Use Information
We process personal data to:
Provide and maintain services: create accounts, authenticate users, process orders and payments, facilitate deliveries, and offer customer support.
Process and complete deliveries: use delivery address and location-related data to assign drivers/couriers, estimate delivery times, and complete handoff at the correct location.
Communicate: send order confirmations, account alerts, and (if opted‑in) marketing messages.
Improve the Platform: analyze usage patterns and feedback to enhance features.
Ensure security: detect fraud, enforce terms, and protect the Platform, users, and partners.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only as necessary to operate the Platform or comply with law:
Payment processors: Stripe and PayPal to collect payments and handle refunds.
Communication & security providers: Mailgun, Postmark, AWS SES, Nexmo (SMS), and Google reCAPTCHA.
Analytics and marketing partners: Facebook, Google (including Google Tag Manager & Places API), Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Pusher for analytics, social login, or optional advertising integrations.
Shipping and logistics providers: We may share relevant order and delivery details (including delivery name, phone number, address, and related location details required for fulfillment) with shipping carriers, couriers, or logistics providers to fulfill deliveries.
All third‑party service providers are obligated to safeguard your data and use it only for the services requested.
4. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Cookies and comparable tools store session details, remember preferences, enable security features, and support analytics or advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect the Platform’s functionality.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to meet the purposes outlined in this policy or comply with legal, tax, or accounting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable laws.

Where device location permission is optional on your device, you can manage that permission through your device settings. Disabling location permissions may affect delivery-related features or availability in certain cases.
